Carmel Kashani, Managing Principal
Carmel Kashani is a hands-on real estate investor and operator with over twenty years of experience in the industry. During his career, Carmel has acquired and operated millions of square feet of prime real estate, overseeing the day-to-day management, leasing, marketing, design, and construction of a portfolio of office, retail, and industrial assets in the New York market.
Throughout his career Carmel had direct responsibility and oversight of more than 2 million square feet of real estate and overseen more than $30 million in development costs. His portfolio of projects includes corporate interior builds, pre-builds, amenity spaces, lobby and elevator modernizations, MEPS infrastructure upgrades, storefront replacements, and façade renovations.
Among his most notable projects were the repositioning and redevelopment of a high-rise office building located at 295 Madison Avenue in New York City, successfully executing an extensive $20 million modernization project while working around an in-place tenant’s continued occupancy. The project was followed by a successful campaign, implemented a “pre-built” leasing platform - which resulted in over 140,000 square feet of completed lease transactions to credit tenants.
Carmel is best known as a mentor, bringing out the highest potential in all team members, and a problem solver, drawing on his extensive experience with detailed property operations, to effectively collaborate with investment teams to facilitate efficient, thoughtful asset management decisions and keeping business plans on track.
He received his BA from The College of Arts of Sciences at New York University and was awarded Phi Sigma Alpha / National Political Science Honor Society. He was also published in The New York Times, Editorial Section “U.S. Does Not Gain by Blocking Iran Oil Deal” and quoted in The Wall Street Journal.
Greg Sattler, Managing Principal
Greg has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry covering a mixed portfolio of roles and specialties. Greg began his career in the early days of the now global asset class of Coworking, Shared Office, Space as a Service.
Currently, Greg directs the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives for Helix Workspace, a premium boutique-style shared office, workspace platform in Manhattan. He maintains continuity in ongoing group operations while actively expanding the portfolio. Greg focuses on active, broad based asset and property management, financial analysis, IT, cash management and budgeting, lease negotiations, crisis resolution, construction management, HR, and evaluation and development of new service lines and technologies. Greg is also active in sales, marketing and business development efforts including SEO, web development, CRM, client relations, and product development and integration.
Greg belongs to multiple industry organizations including the Global Workspace Association, the Workspace Association of New York, and the Mass Communications Advisory Board. Greg has also managed commercial sales transactions including the disposition of an office building in Corvallis, Oregon and the acquisition of a mixed-use property in Aspen, Colorado.
Greg received his BA from Colgate University and MS in Real Estate Finance from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
